Need stock 94 A4 .bin and have questions

I have a 94 Z A4 car that I am trying to put back to stock. Long story short...it appears to have been hyperchipped before I got it, then that .bin was used as the basis for a mailorder...bla blah blah. Basically, I want to go back to stock and do it right myself.

So, if someone has one, please e-mail me "chad at extremepsi dot org"

Next question: Do I need to change the VIN on the stock .bin file that I am sent? I am assuming yes, but I have no idea how to do that. Any info is much appreciated!

Thanks!

I'll send you mail about the .BIN - we need to figure out if you have rev B or rev C code.

You do not have to change the VIN in the .BIN file because the VIN reported via the diagnostic connector is not stored in the EEPROM. Regardless of what you flash the PCM with, the VIN is sticky unless you send it a special command.

Vgeglia...thanks for the e-mail. The .bin you sent me has a few different up downshift points for 3-->2 shift and some downshift pressure modifier table differences (whatever that table is for). Otherwise, it seems to match the original .bin that I pulled off my car.

My .bin is an exact match for what is on the bfranker site so maybe it is closer to stock than I think.

Anyways, thanks again to everyone who replied!
