Need Shift Tables For A4 with 4.10's... Help!
Hey All...
I've got a 97 T/A with OBD1 Conversion and am getting ready for a race in Mississippi and need shift tables for my gearing...
As of yet I have not been able to get it right myself... It feels like it's all wrong in the MPH Thresholds. It seems to want to stay in gear too long, especially in 3-4..
I'm using Tunercat as well.
Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

If you've got a known good file from your previous gear set that worked, why not just do a little multiplication to set the tables up for the 4.10's.
Also, I'm unclear as to why some people choose to use the mph tables for their wot shifts when it seems to me it's easier to lower the mph tables a little and use the rpm threshold talbes for wot shifts?

Some siple math will help here. Divide your previous gear ratio by your current gear ratio, example 3.23/4.10=0.78780, now you should be able to select all the numbers in your shift table "with tunercat" by clicking in the top left corner ", now with all numbers highlighted right click and select scale, then it will ask you what # to multiply the table locations by. Input your 0.78780 and it will change the shift points to the correct mph relevant to your gear ratio "not perfect but it should get you real close".
Make sure you go to tools and speed calibration then enter your correct gear ratio, hit calculate then apply.
Hope this helps you kick some butt.
For this to work correctly you will have to work from your original shift tables that worked with your gears before the gear change.
