Need guidance

I was running datamaster today trying to get my IAC counts down from max and noticed something that didnt seem quite right. Would anyone care to look at my file? The right bank is running so lean that the pcm is reverting back to open loop. You can see it towards the end of the file. I have a right o2 lean and a fuel system lean code. Is it possible to have the proper pressure but not the proper flow?
Also I seem to have trouble getting a PE idle setup. On one proram I have the %tps for WOT vs. rpm for 400-1200 rpm set to 0 and it wont go into pe mode per datamaster. THe other program has the stock %tps values and wont come out of pe mode. WTF? Thanks

Re: Need guidance

Will a lean condition cause you to go into a closed loop pe mode? I thought it woud go to an open loop mode

How do you know it wont go into PE mode? Datamaster has no textbox or switch that shows you when its in PE mode. The problem as far as I can tell is that you are only 1/2 way done with idle PE mode because you also need to lock the BLMs at 128 with a BLM locker and then set the integrators in the ecm constants max value to like 134 so they dont add extra fuel. Also start with like -10% fuel at idle in the PE tables and see where that puts you as far as O2 readings.. shoot for around .100 mV.

btw.. you can DL the blm locker from www.carprogrammer.com I cant tell you exactly where its at but just search thru the PCM and tuning stuff and youll eventually run across it.

Re: Need guidance

If you double click the switch box on the right it gives you a list of switches to monitor. Closed loop, fan 1&2 relays,PE mode, all kinds of stuff. Thanks turbo. Finally got it to idle and got my IAC counts down to 50 or 60. Would you believe my VSS was causing a lot of my idle problems. Before if I was driving and I would push in the clutch the car would die and it wouldn't idle at a stop either. Put in a new VSS today and like FM it works. Now time to started getting it tuned right. Thanks so much
