Mail order or Dyno tune?

Ok, getting the cats taken off my car next week (was debating for awhile, then my SE light came on and threw the code, decision made ). Anyway There is a local shop that will do a dyno tune for me for $350. All I really want is the o2's cut off, but the guy that I spoke to said its all or nothing because they have to upload the program or some bs (wasn't like that with my LT1 software, are LS1's really like that?) So $350 for a full dyno tune, or $250 for a mail tune from pcmforless?

Any other suggestions that may be cheaper for getting rid of the cats?
