MAF table Hz - what are they?

Is there a formula that I can figure out what each Hz value is equvilant to, maybe in grams/seconds or whatever the MAF reads via the scamaster?

I'm trying to get the BLMs dialed in. I am lean at idle (150s), and at part throttle I am rich (1-teens). How can I figure out which parts of the MAF table need to be adjusted?

Maybe I can answer this myself...

The MAF table is the actual calibration of the MAF. This means that if my MAF is reading 7 at idle (lets assume the BLMs are at 150), I should go to the MAF table, find the value that is set at 7, and increase that number.

Am I on track now?

Yes Ryan it sounds like you are on the right track. What ever gram/sec reading you get when you are lean you should increase in the table. For example I was lean in the 10-100 gram/sec part of the table for some reason. I scaled the increase from 10% to 1% from 10-100

Increased gram/sec=increased fuel.

Thanks PDM (PimpDogMatt ) - once I got home and looked at my LT1edit table it made sense.

One more question - Does Datamaster record MAF values? I can't find it on my log that I made . It would be really handy to fix my BLMs!

Ryan,

In datamaster, use AFGS (Air Flow in Grams per Second) That is directly correlated to your MAF. Remember that if you are lean in one part of your MAF table, you may very well be rich in another.

In order to properly part throttle tune, you need to disable your PE mode and let your MAF run the complete range of your RPM band. I did exactly this and found I was rich in my lower MAF, but lean in my upper.

The best way would be to pull it from the PCM somehow.
