Maf Q....

i just got my car running after installing a vortech supercharger. it ran awsome untill i got the boost up. i think that the MAF is having problems with the excess airflow. ive heard about the codebuster 103 that takes care of the problem.

ive got free tuning time left with ion at madz28. can he somehow program the PCM to do the same thing as carroll's codebuster 103?

thanks

Re: Maf Q....

Can you tell what the g/s reading the MAF is reporting? The PCM has a hard limit of 511 I believe...

Re: Maf Q....

Convert it to a 2bar MAP and Speed Density and take out the MAF. I heard that this is the way to go.

Re: Maf Q....

dont think it will pass smog that way. not sure though. ive got the ATI MAF massager on the way.

ive got the MAF unplugged right now so its basically running off the MAP now. its running real rich so im gonna get the massager on and then dyno it and have madz28 tune it.
