i put new plugs,wires,opt,and still something was wrong.so i messed around and i unpluged the mass air flow senser and it runs great.it starts up good and idles good and my air fuel gauge says its ok.i have a 95 lt1 d1sc 12# msd6a 4l60e msd coil 10 mm wires acdelco plugs.so can anyone tell me why it still runs with the mass air flow unpuled and why it runs good.

 

well there is a couple of things. one it could be running in open loop. or two you could have a bad maf which could cause a miss. the A/F ratio gauge judges off of o2s and maybe you just arent getting enough fuel i am not sure but check to see if your car is in open loop. you really need more diag to eeven think about the problem. sorry man

 

Yep I'd check the MAF to see if it's clean. Or if it's still screened make sure there isn't anything stuck in there.

If the MAF sensors are dirty goto an electronics shop and get some electrical parts cleaner, make sure is says no residual on the can. I use that with a q-tip and very carefully clean the sensors..
