I am curious if lt1 and ls1 mafs are interchangeable ? They have different part numbers at gm but look the same. Also the numbers on the mafts have nothing in common with the gm numbers .I think might have mixed up my lt1 and ls1 mafs. Is there a for sure way to tell them apart?

 

good question, because I know the Z06/GM truck 3.5" MAFs are dirt cheap brand new

 

I was wondering the same, I think they are just the maf talbe is different.

 

I know there is someone here on the board running a ZO6 MAF on their LT1, it plugged in, but they had to change the MAF tables.

 

Yes, I cant remember his name exactly, something like " V1S Formula". He is running the Z06 MAF with the correct tables for it. I believe he has been using it for a year or two with no problems. I think there is an adapter harness needed to make the ZO6 MAF a plug and play deal, but I dont know for sure. I would like to know who has been using it on something with lots of mods, like a stroker or blower motor. I would also like to know how much HP each MAF is good for. It would be nice if us LT1 guys had some kind of real upgrade or alternative for the stocker. How much is a new stocker going for nowadays?
