I have one and like it. Easy to hook up and user friendly software. I'm just utilizing the Wideband, rpm and TPS readings on it, but it can be utilized to log other parameters as well.

looking to use it to monitor A/F for when i install new motor and usage with Nitrous. Now software. Lap top. Do i require to use a lap top at all times? Do i need a laptop to use the basic features such as A/F, etc etc?

The setup won't work without a laptop. It's intended to be hooked up to a laptop to log and view your data.
