Looking for a 306/stock heads tune!

I'm putting:
cc306
1.6 RR
ex-612 springs
cloyes timing chain

And everythign else required for the swap in this winter. Now all i need is a tune.

My mods include:
Hooker Shorties
Cut-out/cat back
CAI
LT4
stock 3:42's
stock heads
stock injectors
stock fuel pump and all that good stuff! I found a tune on zeeya's website but it's for aftermarket heads. Does anyone have a tune i can download? Thanks!

Oh yea...it's a 94

Someone else's tune isn't going to be perfect in your car, I hope you understand that.
So the file that you said you've already found should be good to use as a base file. Then adjust to what your car needs.

I tried using other peoples files. Didn't work what so ever. Could never find anybody with the exact same or very simliar setup to me. However, what you can do is use the compair feature in tunercat to contrast your current tune with the tunes you find. Works nicely to see which areas you should concentrate on.

I just got my tune for my 230/236 cam. I have your same setup minus the cam. You WILL have to adjust the tune to your own car. Like said above, every car is different. I'll pm you the tune tomorrow if you'd like.

Re: Looking for a 306/stock heads tune!

BTW, the 612 springs are gonna be pushed close to their limit with the CC306. They are advertised @ .600 max lift, but Combination Motorsports, Thunder Racing, and many others on this board have said that they are good only up to .570 max lift. The CC306 lift is .544/.576. If you haven't bought the springs, look into some 987's (I believe), or was it 986's??? It's too late to remember, but one of those will fit stock heads without machine, just do a search.
