Lean at WOT with open loop.....

Im using tunning cat to tune an open loop with maf tune. My problem is im lean at wot from 5000 rpms up. i have made big changes in open loop afr table and maf tables, and see little change. fuel pressure is good at WOT 43.5ish. I just wound if im missing somthing? ve tables maybe ? not sure? thanks for the help.

Injector duty cycle? If you change the maf tables copy them over to excel and change them by percent assuming you have logs of the airflow vs rpm from your wot runs. Graph the tables and make sure its smooth when you get done though should look like an exponential function for the most part.

On my first 383, I stayed with stock injectors because I was not intending to run high RPMs with it. On the wideband, it would start going lean at 5K RPM even though my injectors said I was at 80%.

I had lean condition on a 97ss 383 D1 FI app @ high rpm. I found my fix from up-size of the fuel supply line. The stock line did not flow well even with a 255lph pump and K_Bell BAP. I went with 2 pumps and an up-size of the stock line (2 -6an socketless hose to -8an line with cooler to engine). The addition of the 2nd pump may be more than I needed, but, did it anyway, and, both are always on. I have plenty of fuel flow delivery with low line pressure head on the pumps. I did have alot of fuel return reulator failures of the diaphram. I recently modded the injector circuit to use a large size fuel reg. B.

TunerCATS?
You're using the wrong table.

Use the "%Change to Fuel/Air Ratio Vs. RPM at WOT" table.

Using the formula in: Help->Calibration Help->Tables->%Change to Fuel/Air Ratio Vs. RPM at WOT, you can set the AFR at WOT based on the corresponding temperature settings in the table: "%Change to Fuel/Air Ratio Vs. Cool. Temp. at WOT".
