Anyone know the lastest EE def file? Mine appears to be newer than the one posted on the website. My PCM_EE is "BV" and my form library is 11.5.

Mine is BW and formlib 11.7. All you have to do is email them with your registration info and they will send you the newest files.

 

Thxs. I guess i will just email him every other month or so to check for updates. I thought emails were sent but I guess not.

 

I have always had to inquire about updates. There is no email notification of updates that I have ever gotten.

 

Anything to be gained from the def file updates?

Yeah. I have noticed over several updates, that they have added things that were not in there before.

 

You know what kind of things they've added with the updates Shoebox? I've never updated my EE since i got tunercat about 2 years ago or so. Just curious if it would be worth it for me to update or not. Thanks.

Their site lists everything in the current version. Sorry, I don't have time to go in there and compare line for line. I just know I have seen a few new items.

 

I'm still waiting on a def file that allows you to play with the accelerator shot (TPS or MAP rate of change vs. additional fuel). Mine has had a horrible lean tip-in for years now.

 

To my knowledge, no one has ever really found the Acceleration Enrichment table in the EE mask. It is assumed that the AE stuff is hard coded some where and doesn't reference a table. I haven't seen a full hack of EE so it's still all very mysterious. Some AE control would be helpful for sure!

Is there a time limit on updates? I sent a request for the newest one about 4 months ago and never got a reply.

 

He must not have gotten your email. He usually sends me an update within a few hours of my request.

 

He sent me an update the next day. I would retry him.
