Laptop Question

What is the best kind of laptop for tuning? I am thinking of buying a new laptop but I really don't want to run into any software issues. Any sugestions?

Laptop brand doesn't matter that much for tuning. As long as it has serial or USB and you get the appropriate cable any kind should work.

Definitely pick one with a reliable battery though.
