Re: Knock counts readings with Datamaster
Ok, do you think the problem i'm having with my car can be diagnosed with the datamaster program I have?

Re: Knock counts readings with Datamaster
Looked at both logs I saw the knock counts incrementing in the idle log, but to tell the truth I never tried reving to over 4K in neutral during a trace so I really don't know if knock is normal or not under those conditions. So I concentrated on the 1st drive.uni file as I like to see data under driving conditions.
-Your fueling is excellent with BLM's staying very close to the 128 +/- 5 mark
-The O2's are switching evenly and at good levels
-Baro reading is a little high at 102.2 Kpa but not a problem, MAP readings are normal for stock cam.
-Timing is good (stock)
-TPS voltage is good (0.65 @ 0%)
-IAC readings are good
However I saw your injector duty cycle is hitting the red line, meaning you may have a fueling problem during the WOT runs. Record #2061 shows 83.1 and 84% where 85% is considered the dropout point. You had no knock then but did when you hit 2nd in record #2079 your DC was in the high 60's approaching 80% in record 2088. That DC is 20-30% higher than my car when it had a stock cam and top end. I would get a fuel pressure gauge on it and verify pressure at idle and under WOT conditions, you could be leaning out under load. Other wise I can't see any other problems.. Are you running 91 octane or better, do you hear any pre-detonation or rattle around the engine. There are things to try after you verify FP. Good luck.. keep us up to date..

Re: Knock counts readings with Datamaster
I'm running 91, When I'm accelerating under 22-2500 rpm's it hesitates and some times jumps (maybe pre-detonation)then after I pass that range the car seems fine.#20996-22022 is an area where when driving I notice the car hesitates, this area i'm in second accelerating to and from every road bump on my street. I dont know about the charts but I now by driving the car.
I previously did a fuel pressure test, here is the ulr to it.
