Thumbs up Just got my MaStach.com interface and software

I was dumb at first and couldn't figure out that only 3 of the 4 pins get used... Then I actually read the instructions. Funny how things became clear.

Anyway, took the car for a spin with my 8yr-old Compaq Armada 150MHz laptop hooked up. Worked perfect, using TTS DataMaster. And I have NEVER done any kind of datalogging before, so I'd say it's pretty easy to setup. Had everything working in 15 minutes.

$45 shipped from Poland with the software (20-run trial version of Datamaster, plus lots of others). Shipping took exactly 7 days to here on the east coast.

Conclusion: highly recommended.

EDIT: I can't be responsible for saying where, but there ARE TTS Datamaster trial-version-to-full-version hacks floating around on the web.

Yep, I just ordered one from them a few days ago. Looking forward to finally figuring out whats wrong with my car. A random stumbling miss and lack of power that develops once the car warms up and gets worse the longer it runs, No SES light.

I'v cleared check-engine lights with it before, but I've never tried any editing. For $40 though, it sure beats paying a shop to do a "diagnostic" every time a code pops up.

Yep, that was my whole reasoning for buying the cable. You pay less than what a single diagnostic would cost, and you get unlimited scans, with results near as good as with a professional scanner.
