Ive got one for ya

Ive got a 1994 camaro z28 (actually dads car) its got a computer out of a 1995 camaro z28, when i plug in code reader it will not connect, is it because the 1995 cars were odb2???

My buddy has a '95, it's OBD1 but has an OBD2 style DLC.

Thats how this car is, cannot hook up to it at all, theres a code that i cannot get off, think its the o2's but i dunno

Here's some more info - www.obdii.com/connector.html Does the scanner just not power up? Long shot but maybe the port is dead because the CIG/ACCY fuse is blown?

OBDI cars don't power off the ALDL connector

Maybe the wiring to the port wasnt setup correctly because of the computer swap, get a obd1 pcm wiring pinout and see if you can trace it down.

Idk, the whole car is stock less a 383, and a computer swap, the code reader gives a error code, i was just thinking that it could be the cig power??? ldk ill looik
