Exclamation Intermittent Shut down once vehicle warms up (and horn randomly beeping)

Hello there,

1993 LT1 350, 100,000 miles, viper alarm system, cold air intake, aftermarket clear taillight lenses, aftermarker stereo, 6 month old ditributor, everything else is stock but maintained well.

Issue:
Car shuts down when it warms up to operating temp...I can drive it for a few miles..then the check engine light comes on, and about a second later the engine dies and I need to pull over safely...if I wait for about 5 or 10 mins...it starts again and I can drive again for a short distance again. I can hear the fuel pump right after this happens (and I am stopped...so I don't think it's fuel).

One other thing...I noticed today that if I push kind of hard on the top of wheel, (like push it towards the windshield..the horn honks...not sure if this is related but thought it worth mentioning.

any advice appreciated.
