interface cable questions?

OK I have Auto Tap GM Enhanced, and a HPPIII for my 1996 LT1.
Now I also want to get LT1 edit, and LS1 edit as I own a custom shop. Can I use the cables from Auto Tap or my HPPIII to work with LT1/LS1 edit?

Do I need a different cable for OBDI LT1 with the OBDII 16 pin connector?

thanks for any info.

Only with the OBD I version of LT1 Edit, and you still need an extra converter, natively they are not the same cable design. You can find information on this on Andrew Mattei's website.

Tunercat has no VIN lock, so it wont cost you $2,000 to get a non-VIN locked version. I dont know how much the OBD II version of LT1 Edit is without VIN lock, but I'd assume more than 2k, same with LS1 Edit.

Good luck
