Injector constant and offsets??
Injector constant and offsets??
Again another question with a program I want to use....
The program uses 30lb SVO's at a 30.007 constant with the stock GM offsets....Im going to be using 36lb SVO's....So should I use a 36.007 constant and the stock offsets, or use the SVO 36's?
Anyone notice any beneift with using the correct offsets?

SVO Injectors were rated at 39.2 PSI. Our cars run at 43.5.
The formula for figuring out the new flow rate is:
newflowrt = sqrt(newpress/oldpress)*oldflowrt
So the correct setting for the 30 SVO injectors would be 31.6 lb/hr and for the 36ers, 37.92 lb/hr.
As for the offsets, I would try the stock ones first, then the updated ones. Scan the car and watch the BLMs for both settings. Stay with whichever yields better results.
