Idle timing /knock retard

knock retard/ idle timing/Histogram questions
So let me get this straight, I set the timing at idle for a the lowest MAP value? I set it to 9.5 degrees and it gave me the highest value of 41.
Which knock tables should I desensatize to compensate for false knock? I lowered my extended spark tables to as low as 31 degree total advance and still picked up knock. Should I buy an LT4 knock module?
When I do a record session on Datamaster I notice that when I look at the histogram I see lean and rich values at the same airflow but at different rpm, I know I can't fix this by using the MAF tables because they don't depend on rpm. What table will allow me to fine tune this?
