idle with motron 60#s

Anyone have a problem getting them lean enough at idle? I have tried the MAF tables, VE tables, even tried PE idle and it won't get any leaner? Any suggestion?

You might want to try modding the injector offset vs battery voltage

What are you shooting for and what's your setup? If your running the factory ecm, i believe in closed loop, it's gonna be shooting for 14.7:1 no matter what you do. I'm assuming you've already changed your injector constant when you changed the injectors also?

Yes i changed injector constant, but no matter what i do it won't get any leaner than 13.2 A/F and that is from a wideband.

Have you scanned it and looked at your BLM's? If so, what are they? Thats weird. I have the Siemens 60#ers and it idles and cruises right at around 14.7 with BLM's at 128. Whats your setup?

To answer your questions, BLM's are on 128 at idle so are the integrators, my setup is 60# motrons, full length pace setter headers, 4.10s, 6 speed, F.A.S.T dual sensor wideband, 2 bar map sensor, iridium plugs, 52mm TB, 6lb vortech supercharger.

There are not many people using 2 bar MAP sensors on LT1's. Are you using the FAST for Fuel/Air delivery or the stock computer. Those mototron 60's work perfect at idle with the stock computer and MAF tables. Are you sure your not stuck in open loop mode? That would cause your Idle and Cruize to be rich.

It is impossible for your blms and long terms to be at 128 in closed loop and be at 13.5 AFR. How are you using a 2 bar map sensor with the stock computer? Who tuned it? Are you running speed density or MAF? Are you sure your Wideband is reading correctly?

I cannot help you with your problem if you do not provide information. Good Luck.

Re: idle with motron 60#s

If its in closed loop, the short terms (INT's) should be oscillating back and forth around 128, simultaneous with the O2 sensor voltages. If its not doing that and the INT's are at 128, its not in closed loop.

Re: idle with motron 60#s

The INT nor the BLMs move, but datamaster does show it in closed loop and blm enabled, if it would help i can get a datalog.
