Idle issues after A4 to M6 swap

I can't get my idle to come back down. I like my idle around 800-900 rpm (currently set at 800 rpm), but it wants to idle at least 1000-1200 rpm. It's usually in the 1100 rpm area. I've gone in a checked off all of the codes the car threw since it has no A4 tranny anymore, but the idle stays the same. Sometimes it wants to idle 1400-1500 rpm. How can I get this to come back down? Are there any other things I should do after this swap? I have Tunercat by the way. I just realized when I was posting my other thread that my MAP is around 20.7 in-Hg (70 kPa). That could cause it to idle high, right? MAF reading ~ 13 gm/sec @ 980 rpm.

Thanks,
Benji

You really should have posted this with your other question about high MAP. It would have been useful to have this info when I was trying to respond to the other post. A single post would have been a better idea.

High MAP doesn't cause high idle. Too much air causes high idle. Too much air causes high MAP/low vacuum (in addition to the overlap your cam). Did you do any program changes at all for the A4->M6 swap? Did you change the idle speed? What is the idle speed set at in your current tune? Is the coolant temp sensor connected and showing the correct temperature (idle speed is elevated at low coolant temps).

There are IAC settings that will adjust idle speed. Check your IAC Target RPM vs Coolant Tempo table under the Idle Control Tables menu. If changing that doesn't help you may have to change the IAC Park Position vs Coolant Temp table.
