I can't find the DLOG or .csv files
Gary, I am hoping you have some wonderful answer for me.
I am running Windows 10 on a HP Laptop. I am running Version 2.5.1 Scanning Software from you. It loads with no problems. I connect my cable, it automatically finds COM3. I hit Connect/Reset, then Scan, and it is off and scanning with the car engine running getting data. Values are changing, everything looking like it should. I hit the Stop button, and then the Save Scan to the Log File. It flashes an icon that it is saving the file. Down below on the display where it says Filename, a file name like the following appears File: DLOG-Save-2016May26-152752-2G1FP22PXSXXXXXXX.csv (The X,s represent numbers).
In a folder I labeled Scan9495, I have another folder labeled Scan9495 Execution Folder. In that one is the Zip File Scan9495 V2-5-1. When I open that one, the following are inside
Scan9495 Instructions.txt
Scan9495.exe
MALF.csv
MALF-93.csv
Whether I run the scan for 15 seconds, or 15 minutes, I do not see a new file in the folder. I have done search scans on the hard drive looking for them with no results also. I thought I should find it in the folder with the 4 previous files I listed. I also tried the Auto Save Scan File, but that didn't work either. No such luck. Any thoughts. Am I doing something out of sequence ? I have the Folders located on my Desktop for easy access.

Re: I can't find the DLOG or .csv files
The log file is in the folder with the scan9495.exe file, not with any files in a zip file. If you are running the scan9495.exe file from within the zip file, it will not work properly.

Windows 10 was a problem for me as well,so I gave that laptop to my daughter and got an old laptop with win 7 and it's a dedicated laptop just for the scan.I had Apache in the 10 but I got windows office for the 7 and everything fell into place.(Somebody told me Apache bought out the old power point but I don't know for sure). Are you running 10 with windows office?Hope this helps.I think some answers may come reading all the Scan94-95 stuff in the computer diagnostics and tuning section.Hope this helps.(And yes I am computer challenged somewhat).My02.

Windows 10 shouldn't be a problem. I have 3 pc's with Windows 10 and they all work with Scan9495 without any special settings.

Well Gary, I must apologize to you. The first sentence in your User Guide Installation Instructions was extract all files. I had previously read all the instructions before doing any of this, but that apparently went in one ear and out the other.
I extracted the zip file to another folder, and shazam, everything works exactly like it is supposed to.
Sorry to bother you when all the info was there right from the start.
Thanks so much for helping me.
