Hypertech worth it?

Hi all, I have a few basic bolt-ons and I was on a website and saw the Hypertech power programmer for my 2002 LS1. What I want to know is if it's worth the moolah or not. Also, is it simple to use? Anyone that has it please let me know how you like it. I'm a newbie at all the computer stuff. Thanks!!

Re: Hypertech worth it?

Worth it for an automatic car if you get a good deal on a used one. If it's a stick or you have to pay retail, no. Yes they're simple to use, don't count on them adding any power though. If you have a colder t-stat, different tires or gears then search the classifieds or ebay for a used one. Otherwise don't bother.

Madz28 or PCMforless tuning is cheaper and can do more for you. Do a search to find their contact info.

Cheers,
Chris
