I've got a hypertech program in my car and I am trying to sell it to a friend. Unfortunately I did not pull the programming out of the PCM before tearing out the engine and tranny. I have tried unsuccessfully to pull the programming out. For whatever reason it will not work.
My question is....Can I put my PCM into another car in running condition of the same year and tranny to remove the programming and get my PCM to stock form?

Yes as long as you install your PCM into another LS1 based car, it will work.

I am puzzled on exactly what you are trying to do though. If you are wanting to just go back to stock on PCM this should work. But there is no reason why it shouldn't have worked in your car......so even installing the PCM into another car may/ may not help matters.
