Question Hypertech programmers & shift points....

I have a Hypertech programmer for correcting my speedo after my gear change on my 1995 Trans Am (Automatic). I am having a problem hitting the rev limiter on my 2-3 shift under WOT. Has anyone changed shift points using the Hypertech and what shift points did you set for 3:73 gears?

I am planning on getting PCMforless to fix this and a few other issues (maybe some extra horses) but need to reset my shift points for some drag racing this weekend.

Thanks for the help,
Stephen

I had the same problem with HPP+, plus my MPH was reading about 5% low. Their calibration was off. I faked it out by telling it I had 1/2" larger tire.

Smile Thanks....

I'll try that.... this will be a temporary fix until I can get a re-program.
