how much to alter MAF tables by for descreened MAF?

how much to alter MAF tables by for descreened MAF?

Just wondering, I descreened & polished my MAF, I want to find out how much to adjust the maf tables by, thanx guys.

At least you understand you will have to modify your MAF tables because of the descreening.

How much will depend upon the car. mine varies from 12% taken out in the low end to 7% added on the upper end. Inbetween, a no variance area was present.

I wanted to port the maf but not descreen, but that doesn't seem to be possible after I opened up the units. If I descreened I would need to tune?

Possibly. Personally, I would not screw with this part of your car. there are other areas that you can work on to "maybe" give you performance enhancement without the headaches of messing with a MAF - a very sensitive sensor.

Put the screen back in. That honey comb screen is designed to spread the incoming turbulant air more equally across the sensor, thus giving a more accurate reading of the incoming air.
