Question How long will the PCM hold a code after SES light?

Just like the title stats. Got the SES light on the way to work this morning and was just wondering if the code will still be there when I get home tonight?

Yes, the code is stored until the vehicle completes a pre-determined number of drive cycles, without the same problem recurring. Typically, you will have to drive it 50 times before the code self-clears.
