how to keep tranny from downshifting on dyno?

I was at the dyno a few weeks ago and we were wondering if there is a way to change the PCM settings so a wider RPM range could be recorded on the dyno. With the 2800 stall converter, about the lowest RPM's we can get on a 3rd gear pull is 3400-3500RPM. I want to see 2500-6200RPM! Is there anything I can change or am I just stuck with the fact that I drive an automatic?
