i wonder if there is anything other than HPP3 or SLP fan switch to turn on the electric fans in our cars,
i was thinking of buying a 160 thermostat but don't want to spend the money on a HPP3 for the fan setting, and don't need a manual setting like SLP's switch.

so, if you know of any cheaper stuff to do that, please post it here,

You could make your own fan switch, would probably cost $2 or $3 maybe... I have yet to do that, but I'm sure there are instructions somewhere on how to do it.
