i have a 94 camaro z28 and i download datamaster and i have a obd1 akm usb cable and it will not read anything

 

Hmm install the drivers that come on the cd... open up datamaster .. go to file click on record aldl data.. the "serial Data acquisition" window will pop up.. then i had to go to the setup menu on that window and i selected COM3 .. and that worked for me.. I have the usb aldl cable. i dunno which COM you have to use.. try on #3 maybe it will work

 

In your PC's device manager/ports, figure out what COM port the 'Searial USB Adapter' is on, then set Datamaster to the same one.
