help please. needed very badly ready to send car to savlage yard!

90 camaro. <95 lt1/4l60e w/ odb1pcm> the car is doing some crazy stuff. it idles perfect in neutral or park. you put it into any gear and the car miss's like going crazy. like its hitting limp mode. after 30 seconds <timed it> the idle picks up and no more missing. soon as the gas is applied in gear it miss's again. i unplugged the 12/13 plug from the transmission. and the same deal. unplugged the vss. same deal. the car will miss in gear. you can then put it into park or neutral and exactly 30 seconds the idle picks up. you can give it gas and rev it all day in park/neutral and it runs like a champ. but soon as its put into gear it goes down hill. help me please=\ for this is a project car and i havent wired a obd1 port yet. guess ill see if i can find a schematic for it
. thanks in advance

Shoebox's website has the pinout for the aldl connector. sounds like the engine is having trouble under load. How long has it sat before you were able to get it in and fire it up? the iac motor might have some sludge on it causing it to react slowly. Do you have the map sensor hooked up? SES light coming up? I've been through most of the wiring troubles, check my sig.

95 they started using a obd2 port even tho the pcm was a obd1. so i can not hook up the data link connector. this is really annoying me. i cant say how long the engine has set. its driving me up the wall and there is nothing i can do. my hands are tied. i know someone else outthere has had this problem.

If you did the wiring, you understand that there is only 1 data wire coming off the pcm that the aldl connector needs besides ground, the only other thing that any data cable / code puller would need is a 12 volt line. Go to shoebox's site, print the aldl connector out and pin it however you want, you can even splice the data wire and run it to two different connectors so you have both if it makes you happy. I can't help you out with a keyboard if you aren't willing to help yourself. good luck.
