Help..ERROR Messages Reading 95 Z28 OBDII
Help..ERROR Messages Reading 95 Z28 OBDII
A friend has a 1995 Z28 late production with OBDII (J1962 connector)...we have connected a couple of OBDII scanners and in each case..the "error reading..check connections message appears". (I have tried the Actron CP9150 which detects both OBDI & II)
Any specific connections problems with this vehicle that we can look for? The ECM fuse near the drivers door is obviously good along with the PCM fuse under the hood.
The check engine light is intermittent and can’t get a scanner to work… any suggestions?
Thanks
Ed

I'll second that... ALL '95s were OBD1 with an OBD2 connector... I had AutoZone telling me that my computer was fried before I found that out. I ended up buying an interface cable for my laptop to read codes.
