Question Help With Diablo Predator Tuning!

I recentley purchased a DiabloSport Predator programmer, and I was wondering if anyone could help me out with setting some parameter's on it. My current mods are Lid, K&N filter, Dynomax Exhaust, smooth bellows, and ngk plugs. I don't have the money to get it dyno'ed right now, So if anyone could help me tune it, given my mods, it would be greatly appreciated!
thanks, 99amrz28

Re: Help With Diablo Predator Tuning!

thanks, Ill try that. As far as changing the timing, would that be the Power Enrichment category, or the Spark Category, I am new to all of this and don't want to mess anything up?

Re: Help With Diablo Predator Tuning!

listen man. if you're new to all of this you need to be really carful. You're basicly playing with fire.

It would probably be in the spark catagory. probably called timing advance or something like that.

If you do change it. test it through the powerband before going WOT and if there is ANY knock retard, turn it back. If your knock counts are jumping a lot, turn it back.

Good luck. Be careful

I tried one, and even with help with the tuning my 1/4 time didn't change in the least. I ended up returning it, since for $400 I figured I'd get a little bit of help at the track

Re: Help With Diablo Predator Tuning!

yeah, I would like to return it, but I don't know if I can. I would like to try something like LS1 Edit or Tunercat, sounds like those are very respectable. thanks for the input on the Predator. As far as knock retard goes at WOT, without adjusting any settings, I have 0 to 1.9 just for a second, than 0. and my spark is between 21.3 to 40.9. when the car is off it is at 0.3
