Have a pcm tuning question?

94 z28 with a bunch of mods - no heads or cam upgrade- bolt ons- s-trim supercharger -42lb injectors and so on. now i was told to have my car dynoed before i get the pcm tuned. but won't the car run like crap having a bunch of mods done and not being tuned first? like won't i lose hp? who is better - madz28 or pcmforless??

thanks

You can't run the car on the stock tune with what you have, not to mention going wide open throttle. Honestly, I would recommend dyno tuning the car considering your setup, but it's really up to you.

If you go the mail order way, then you would want to dyno it after the initial tune to check the air fuel ratio, then send the PCM for an update based on the air/fuel ratio readings you get.

With stock motor, I'm guessing you're not running an FMU with those 42# injectors

an FMU would make it easier to tune IMO. But larger injectors will work too.
