handheld tuner questions...

Can someone tell me who make the most "versatile" handheld out there?...... easiest to use? most programming options? I know Crane, Hypertech, and some other make them, but I don't know what's junk and what's not. I know most, if not all, of them deliver 30-50 hp and give the user the ability to return to stock(a feature I really like) Also, can the top speed limiter be reprogrammed with them?......if not with a handheld, then how? Thanks!

What year is your car? Some handhelds are only available for certain years. Don't think any of them are going to give you 30-50 HP.

We've got one that we provide on a loaner basis and its easier to use then any of them.

If you want to restore your factory programming later, we do provide that service as well.

Currently we work on 1994-1997 LT1, but we will have LS1 support ready very soon.

Let me know if you would like more details.

Cool. I bought a '99 Z28 A4 for testing the LS1 product, those are sweet cars. The LS1s are *amazingly* fast.

If your car is stock, or mostly stock you can expect to get 15-20 HP out of tuning, be it from a "boxed" handheld like Predator, Superchips, etc, or a custom tune from us. I dyno-tuned my stock car and that's about what we got.

We'll announce the release of our LS1 product here on the forums. If you're still looking for a tune then, look us up. Our introductory pricing for LS1 will be $250 + $15 shipping, and we customize the program the way you want.
