? on gears / speedo-odo calibration
? on gears / speedo-odo calibration
Looks like i may be getting back into a 4th gen again if all goes through with a 94 Z i'm looking at. This car has 3.73 gears but was originally stock 2.73s and the owner never did the speedo calibration. Obviously the speedometer is off about 20 mph @ highway speeds but my question is will odometer be off in a similar manner? Or is that done by front wheel rotation count?
Other than part throttle shifts being off, would driving a car for this for a long time actually hurt anything? I'll have it programmed ASAP but just wondering if any damage has been done by previous owner running it like this?
