fuel gauge!

fuel gauge!

im not sure if this is the right place to post this thread but i do know that it is controled by the computer,,,,my fuel gauge is bouncing slowly on a cold start,,i rememberd i only had a 1/4 of a tank when i parked my 2000 z28 but this morning it was reading full and it was bouncing back and forth a little,,is this a problem????

Gm has issues with their level sensors. I just got a bulletin the other day at work about a new fuel treatment that helps keep the sulfur in fuel from damaging the sender card. You might want to try that. (Don't know if it actaully works). If not it could be your level sensor needs replacement.

get a can of Sea Foam from NAPA. Read the directions and run it through the system, works great as a top end cleaner and fi cleaner through the tank.
