Question Fuel , Air , Spark , Technology

>I have some questions about this .

1) which are you using for supercharged applications for the LT1 ?
Bank to Bank w/O2 or with out O2 ?

2)Where did you find the best price for this ?

Bank to bank and the O2 option is almost a neccessity as far as I can tell. Especially on a blown motor.

However, I only JUST got mine up and running.

Shaun is correct. Basically you have 2 choices: Opti-spark, or IPU.

1. If you wanted to use the Opti-spark. Then you would use
the Opti-spark ignition with Wide Band O2 sensor. Of course you do not have to use the O2 sensor, but it does make tuning very easy compared to not having one!
part#30-116010 Opti-spark LT1/LT4 with O2 option

part#30-116000 Opti-spark LT1/LT4 without O2 Option

2. IPU...or Inductive Pickup. If you dont want to use the Opti-crap then you could install a crank trigger and eliminate the Opti.
part#30-113010 Inductive Pickup with O2 sensor Option

part#30-113000 Inductive Pickup without O2 sensor Option

As far as pricing you would have to contact one of our distributors.
Or you may luck up and find system online somewhere used.....
BEWARE If you buy a used system, your basically on your own from a dealer's standpoint! The reason FAST is sold through dealers only is because you get tech help/support/tuning. The best thing to do is find a few dealers closest to you and call 3 or 4 of them and find the best price. The link below should take you to list of the distributors.

i would like to add a good word for Kevin and Craig Smith of FAST. One of the deciding factors for me in buying a FAST as oppssed to Accel DFI was Kevins presance here on this board and Craigs presence on turbobuick.com.

They both have been a great help and I cannot say enough good about them.

Buy a FAST

>So I guess I will look into getting part#30-116010 Opti-spark LT1/LT4 with O2 option once the tax returns come in .

I still would like a "ballpark" figure on this part # so I can get the best price I can .

What is the difficulty level of installing one of these systems ?
