Angry Freescan won't begin a CSV File!!

I have been using freescan for months without issue. Today I went to log and when i clicked on start CSV logging instead of popping up a window asking for a new filename, the button just changed to read "stop". I have the latest version from andy's site. I uninstalled, reinstalled and rebooted multiple times. The log ecu data button still brings up the filename window. Any suggestions or previous experiences like this? TIA

Just the usual. Sounds as though another program is "stepping on" the system's file handling routines. Did you load any new programs lately or recently have the operating system load anything new at startup? Do you use the internet with your computer? If so, run the virus checker. Check for damaged files and repair or delete them. Last resort ... remove and reinstall Freescan. Good Luck.
