Flashing PCM and it failed to establish communication, now car won't run??
I was attempting to reflash the PCM on my '95 with Tunercat, done this many times, but this time I got a "Failure to establish communications with PCM" error right after the fans cut on and off.
Tried again with the same error and Datamaster cannot connect to the PCM either.
Now the fans run anytime the key is on, car will start but then quickly starts running very bad after about 10 secs.
I thought there was a way to remove a chip and I could reflash it with my pocket programmer hardware, but I took the PCM apart and there does not appear to be any removable chip, nor does there look like one I can de-solder that would fit in the PocketProgrammerII, they are all square.
What to do next??

I've gotten that message a lot but never after it turned the fans on.
I would think you might just try reflashing it again, if it still starts then it was definitely not toasted.
