I used a couple of his tunes a year or two ago, but I never had to use another tuning software. He always sent the tune as a boot file. Maybe he is doing things different now. Have you asked Ion about your problem? Also if I remember correctly the 30 day trial version of Tuner cat is just to look at and see the type of changes you will be able to make if you buy the software. I don't think it allows you to flash the PCM. I could be wrong though.

 

A lot of problems with some "programmers". There is a lot of advertising for some but very little "QUALITY" control from the web site site officials in what is being sold as the answer to an individuals problem. A survey should be taken with users of this site as to what was their expierence with individuals who use this site to make money. And publish the results. A fair request! 93 Z TED AKA PLATTTED

The trial version of Tunercat definitely does not come with the $EE file. Unless you have some kind of special trial version that was no one else does, you have to buy that.

 

i use only the "winflash 2.15" from Tunercat to read and program the PCM.

I don't think i need more.

How is working the ALDL test and what results this sofware gives ? can it check the port ? the cable ? I tried it on the 2 laptops and 2 desktop i have and it has always failed on the 3 test ?

Maybe i'm using it in a wrong way.

Any help ?
