the dealer said if i bought a new computer, they would have to have my car a 94 to flash it throught the [aldl port.diagnostic port] this may not be spelled right.. can i just buy one and send it out to someone on here to program it with what i want and to delete some of the stuff like the all of the pollution controled stuff. the engine will be a 355,304 comp cam, long tube headers.

I would send it to Ion (madz28.com) and just have him program it. You'll get more power out of that cam if you have it programmed anyway.

/\ agreed. With a cam, you will definately benefit from a tune.

You could also consider getting Tunercat for yourself and tune it yourself. Or at least be able to flash it without even touching your pcm.
