First things to do for a performance tune?
I recently picked up a copy of Tunercat and have changed a few little things, but haven't really got into the tables yet. Among other things, I just installed some Hooker LTs and I'm waiting for nice weather to get the dual exhaust installed. My question is what should be the first tables to edit for a little more performance? More spark advance? Lean the car out? Where is a good place to start, and what tables should I look in?

the way i do it goes like this..
make sure everything is A-OK.
no knock, IAC right, TPS is set etc..
then start w/ the 0% TPS spark adv..
set it to get the highest MAP(most vaccum) uses less fuel ..
if you have a dyno run w/ your current mods use the dyno tuner sheet(excel xls)
to get 12.6-12.8 AFR
then start w/ the timing..
then do shifting if its an A4.
