Finally got rid of my datalogging demons :D
As a few of you - and i emphasize " few"-, as a few of you know i have been having troubles getting my PCM to read through the ALDL to datalog. Well as of today i have fixed the problem.
The problem was my USB- ALDL interface cable. The one i had bought previously was one from Radio Shack. Please- if you are going to be getting into datalogging - do not buy from Radioshack. I bought my cable from them, and then when it wouldnt work and i tried to return it they said- " its been used, and you paid with a credit card"- this is the most B/S i've ever heard. So i kept the gay cable. tried it with a few different cars -
nothing. - Well i finally looked up the Belkin F5u103 interface box. Hooked it up, and it worked like a charm.
I paid $18 for mine shipped to my door brand new from ModTech, Inc.
and i think i only paid $35 for my ALDL cable.
So- Another happy user of the Belkin F5u103 interface.
