Want temps do I set the on and off fan temps for?

I have a 180 thermostat.

I have it set for 188 fan 1 on

and 199 fan 2 on.


OK I don't have it set yet it was at like 220 or some where around there.

would it be better to set it lower than the thermo temp to like 175 fan one and like 185 fan 2?

I need some coffee this is wrecking my brain.

 

I have a 160 degree stat in my Iroc and the fan is set up to come on at 160 also. The higher factory temps are for emissions purposes.Heat kills horse power and also creates more ware on your motor.Go with the cooler stat and fan setting.
