F.A.S.T Part Numbers

Hello Ken, either one of the two part numbers you stated will work. The two part numbers are:

30-113010 is the IPU ECU. This setup would require you to install a crank trigger. One benefit from this type setup would be that the Opti-crap is eliminated. One drawback to this system is that it requires alot more work/install to get it setup.

30-116010 is the LT1/LT4 ECU. This setup is a "plug & play" for the LT1/LT4. One benefit from this setup is of course the ease of installation. One drawback is that you still have to Opti to contend with.

IMHO i would go with the 30-116010. We have alot of LT1/LT4 guy's running this setup, and it works great for the application.

I have talked to 1 customer that used the 30-116010, and he had alot of problems with the system......after working with him a few weeks, it turned out his Opti-spark was bad! So he ditched the 30-116010 and went with the 30-113010. He swore to never have to deal with the Opti-crap again!! LOL...

So with having said that ,basically the choice is up to you. Whichever you would feel most comfortable running/installing would be the determining factor. The LT1/LT4 ECU is setup for your ignition right out of the box, the IPU is a more "one size fits all" type of setup. Either way i dont think you would be dissapointed......I would highly recommend you work with a distributor for the install/tuning though. They can provide alot of help on the install and tuning to get the car up and running in the shortest amount of time! Hope this helps......Kevin
