EFILive Scanner with a 96-97 LT1 pcm

Since the 96-97 LT1 pcms are ODBII, I should be able to log any SAE generic paramters on my '97 t/a with EFILive (just talking about the scanner here, not the tuner).

I would like to know if anyone has successfully used the newer EFILive versions on an ODBII LT1 pcm and been able to access the extended GM parameters. I've heard that with some tweaking , EFILive can be made to log most all of the LT1 paramters (transmission paramters, commanded afr, etc).

Im also curious if the bi-directional controls will work.

The bi di commands work but say you hit the a/c clutch command on it may turn on the high speed fan. I have the EASE tool and that supports bi-di controls. Hopefully MXSan will pan out for OBD2 LT1's. I worked on a efi lt1 file but it was a pita trying to firgure out the scaling of the PIDS. I have a list of some of the enhanced PIDS PM me and I'll send it to you

Thanks, the list of extended parameters would be great.

I've got tunercats so i've been following the MXscan stuff closely. A basic version has been released but it doesnt have the nice histograms that EFIlive has. The next release is supposed to have that support, but who knows when that will be out.

I'm not familiar with EASE -- its another scanner i guess? More than anything I want those histogram readouts for a SD tune so i can see what VE cells im not hitting as im driving, rather than having to open up a log in excel, convert it to table form, figure out what cells i didnt hit, etc.
