When trying to hook scan tools up to your car (more than one scantool) and none of them will connect to the ECM, does this usually mean the ECM is junk? All connections are good and the wire from the ALDL port to the ECM is good. This is on my Grand National.

not really, does the car run??,, you need to get a wiring diagram and check all the power and grounds at the ecm so you know for sure that the ecm is turning on, check the ground at the aldl connector also
