ECM constants ????

Have a big problem. after i change a parameter in the ECM constants table ( fuel cut off mph, max line pressure or fuel cut off1 2-6 gear) the car wont run its only firing up for a sec and dies, After loading the "stock" file again it runs ok. have tried it on 2 cars and having the same trouble on both. Its no problems when i change in another table....
Proberbly something i have missed but i cant figur out what it is.

I've done silly things before like changed my injectors to 4lb's , start with the file that works and make your changes over again.

Its not that i have done anything wrong, i have loaded my "stock" file again an the car runns fine, after that i raised max line pressure in the ECM constant table to 105 (that was the only change) and saved the file in another name and then programed the pcm and the car wont start again . loaded the stock file and it runs again . did the same thing on another car and only lowered the fuel cutoff 1 gear and the fuel resume 1gear (1 step)and the car only run for a second reloded the "stock" file and everythings ok.
Have also made changes in other tables without any problems.

Also noticed another funny thing my injector settings are 2538,00 Thats big. after i did a litle search find that it could be the eeB def file i needed so i try to open my file whidh eeB and wow no my injectors were 236976,00 so that wasnt the trouble, have download a couple of bin files from internet and the all shows BIG injectors doesnt matter if open them in ee or eeB

Beginning to think that something is wrong with my Definitonfile

Any ideas?

Check to make sure you're using the right definition file. Take a look at your injector constant to verify this. If it's ~24.xx then you're working with the right DEF. If not, then you have to switch to the other one. (EE/EEB)

You can't just email me the definition file. They won't work like that.
I'd try contacting TC at tc@tunercat.com and ask him what he thinks about this. He's very helpful and usually answers quick.

Oh yes, I do have the copy, and yes, if you send me the exact same thing TC sent you, that will work, but if you send me the files after you unarchived them, then they won't. (sort of a protection thing) It will ask for a password I don't know.
Anyway, if TC sent you the stuff, I'm sure it works. Try installing Tunercat on a different computer and try editing the file again.

Well, the quick answer that normally works for everyone is to switch the definition, but you seem to have a different problem, so I say just reinstall the thing. You can download the latest tunercat from their website. It's a full version once you give it your serial number.
